{ The LWD + All White Everything }

So we all know the LBD. Super basic, chic, and easy to style. Meet summer’s version of the LBD…

The LWD.

There’s truly nothing easier to wear than a little white dress. My fav LWD is a trapeze styled dress. With Philadelphia’s humid summers, a trapeze dress is just SO comfy. Plus, when I’m feeling super bloated, it hides everything hah.

Last Saturday Lorena, fashion blogger at Love Lory and I had a great time shooting some summer styles together. I totally recommend following Lorena’s Instagram for fashion inspiration. I love how she paired her all-white pants with a black top, belt, and sunglasses. I had so much fun shooting with her! { Stay tuned for another post with a ton of photos with this lovely blogger! }

Whyyyyyy buy something that isn’t versatile? Such a waste. There are SERIOUSLYYYYY a billion ways to wear this white trapeze dress. The only thing you have to do is change your shoe style. Here are a few ways I’ve worn my LWD:

1. Wedges

Wearing heels walking around Philadelphia is a little crappy. The ground is so uneven.  Sometimes you’re walking on a paved sidewalk, sometimes its cobblestone, and sometimes it’s brick. Cobblestone + heels =  worst walking combo ever. I’m pretty short. I’m 5’2.5 (yes the half inch counts). If I’m walking a lot and I feel like adding some height, I put on wedges because they’re comfy and easy to walk with.

2. Nude Heels

For a night out, I think the LWD looks best with nude heels. Well I guess I’m kind of biased. I’m rarely not wearing nude heels at night. Nude heels give the appearance of longer, leaner legs. Style Tip: Choose nude heels close to your skin tone. They will sort of trick the eye and create this illusion of making the heel look like they’re connected to your body…resulting in “longer” legs. So…if you’re going to wear nude heels a lot, I recommend finding an amazing pair to break in and take care of.

3. Sneakers

Wear this around the city running errands, on a walk, or shopping. Pair with white high top converses for all all white everything look or Dolce Vita slip-ons. This is an easy weekend look that I wear a lot (I wonder if my friends have noticed haha).

4. Sandals

I’m from California and growing up, I basically lived in flip flops. I wore them with everythingggg (even when it rained). I don’t really wear them that much anymore. I especially don’t really like wearing flip flops walking around Philly…because let’s be honest…the sidewalks are pretty darn dirty. When I do wear flip flops, I like wearing them with dresses. It gives a beachy casual look and sometimes I just like pretending I’m at the beach.

How are you wearing the all white everything look this summer?
