We’re keeping it casual for Valentine’s Day. Especially because it’s on a WEDNESDAY. This is why I’m all for a weeknight stay-at-home date. My casual Valentine’s Day outfit is this bright red printed top (what’s VDay without red?), my favorite Paige jeans, and gold earrings. If I need step outside for some reason, I’ll throw on these comfy Converses. Anyone else agree that Converses look better when they’re all scuffed up?
Weeknight Stay-at-Home Date
It’s the middle of the week, I want to be festive, but I love sleeping and waking up early. I want a date night in, so I’m just going to do my hair, wear this super cute outfit (sans the sunglasses and shoes because I’m inside) and we’ll cook a nourishing dinner, while I feed Maddie random snacks and prance around to the La La Land and Baby Driver soundtracks. These two are my current favorite soundtracks to listen right now. Now that’s my ideal weeknight stay-at-home date.
What I’m Wearing
- Favorite pair of Paige Jeans: Read about them here.
- Floral Red Off The Shoulder Top: This top is actually from a set, which means I have like three different outfit possibilities from this skirt/top duo. It’s cheap, I’m excited to wear it to death and it can be worn year round. YUP, year round–just wear the top under a slouchy cardigan and heavy coat in the winter. Layering works wonders.. Shop it here.
- Gold Earrings: I rarely wear jewelry. When I do, it’s good statement earring. These gold earrings add a festive touch for Valentine’s Day! Find these earrings at a local boutique in Philly called Lou Lou Boutiques (on 13th Street between Walnut and Chestnut Streets)
