OMG it’s the last day of September and all month I FORGOT to write this. My September was so much fun! The best part about it was going to Austin and meeting up with my cousin in San Francisco. Texas is literally the middle of both of us, so it worked out perfectly! We ate sooooo much delish foods, listened to live music, did a little nature-y stuff and vintage shopping. Austin’s home of one of the Urban Apparel Liquidator (UAL) stores. Such fab finds. They currently have SO much cashmere (I regret not stocking up for winter) and I got a pure silk bow blouse for $80 (it was originally like $300).
AND TOMORROW IS FREAKEN OCTOBER. One of the best months because HALLOWEEN! Literally a season, not just a day. Yesterday I went to Pennhurst Assylum with Philly PR Girl and we toured the legendary state school and hospital that closed in 1987. It kinda reminded me of Radley in Pretty Little Liars (I’m so obsessed w/ this show right now. The acting is terrible, but it keeps me on the edge of my seat). Below’s a special sneak peak vid of their newest attraction — the Containment.
Here’s my month as told by my Instagram:
Cutest little plant shop in Austin!
Totally recommend Lenoire if you’re looking for a fancy night out in Austin. It’s a prix fixe menu and everything we had was amazing (plus I’m in love w/ their aura). Afterwards we went down to 6th Street for some bar hopping + live music. SO Texas.
This is one of my favorite skirts right now. I just want to wear it everywhere I go. Shop it here.
When it’s Fall and the weather jumps from 70-90 degrees, wear summer tops with jeans. More on this outfit later. I wore this to a BYOB tour of Philly with Founding Footsteps — touristy, but VERY fun. I learned a lot about Philly on the tour too. I stocked my bag with mini La Marca prosecco bottles.
Priyanka and I had a girl’s night out with Plant Nite! Plant Nite is owned by Paint Night. Same concept — drinking, snacking + an activity. Plant Nite’s more my thing because I reaaaallly suck at painting.
