Philly is so freaken hot and humid in the summer. You know what makes me feel cool and replenished? COCONUT. WATER. ICE. CUBES.
Coconut water ice cubes are great to have on hand and I like using them instead of reg ice cubes (because who likes a watery drink?!). I pop them into smoothies, juices, sparkling water, and iced tea. They’d prob be really good in a skinny cocktail too.
These ice cubes are delish, easy to make, and way more interesting than your reg ice cube. Just pour your fav coconut water into an ice cube tray and freeze. I like using silicon ice cube trays in shapes…like flowers. It just makes everything more fun and cute to look at. The trays I used are from Ikea and they were only 99 cents.
COCO5 sent me some drinks to try out, so I decided to make some ice cubes. I’m sooo obsessing over COCO5. They come in 6 flavors and are all-natural.
Now the benefits…
Coconut water naturally contains five essential electrolytes your body loses during exercise: potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, and chloride.
COCO5 promotes many health benefits, like lubrication of joints and muscles, increased mental focus and physical performance. So perf for hydrating while working out. Find COCO5 online or at several major retailers. Yummmm.
I’m usually not a fan of flavored coconut water, but I made the flavored COCO5 drinks into ice cubes and they tasted so so so good. They ended up being sort of like mini popsicles. Cute right?
