Fall Transition OOTD + 11 Things About Me

My bloggy friend Melody nominated me for this questionnaire. I’ve never really done a post like this before, so I thought it would be pretty fun to mix in a start of Fall outfit post and this.

Starting off with my fall transition ootd…

It’s fall, but it’s recently, it’s been between 70-90 degrees outside. Because it’s stiill sunny out, I’m not ready to let go of my summer crop tops. This top is from a set I’ve been wearing all summer long. It’s not necessary (and not good for the environment) to buy a whole new wardrobe for Fall. Find a way to wear your summer pieces for another season. In this case, I swapped the shorts from that floral set with Madewell Jeans and I’m not putting away my basket bags for the season. This basket bag is super huge so it makes a really cute grocery bag (or bag to stuff all your mini prosecco bottles ๐Ÿ˜‰ if you’re going on a Founding Footsteps BYOB tour).

Now, here’s 11 things about me!

1. What inspired you to start blogging?

Daily life! There’s so much going on and I really just want to capture things I love and inspire me.

2. Where is your favorite place to eat in your city?

Kisso! Kisso’s my favorite sushi spot in Philly. The sushi is soooo fresh and the food is way authentic. Ask if they have fresh wasabi. It tastes amazingggg.

3. Where did you grow up and where do you live now?

I grew up in San Jose, CA. If you don’t know where that is, it’s the capital of Silicon Valley and about 45 minutes south of San Francisco. Now I live in Philadelphia (Center City).

4. What did you study in college?

Advertising and Marketing!

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

I can’t decide. I truly love Philadelphia, but I hate winter. My ideal place would be Philadelphia if the city didn’t have a winter, but was close enough to escape to a winter wonderland. Or, somewhere in Southern California or Australia.

6. What was your favorite hobby as a child?

Playing in the dirt. I would literally dig and eat plant roots because I pretended I was a cave woman (I was inspired by some weird cave woman book I read).

7. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Brick and mortar — Anthropologie. Online — Revolve.

9. What is your favorite holiday or time of the year?

Halloween!! It’s so magical, spooky and tons much funnnn.

10. What are your goals as a blogger?

To keep my creativity going and flowing.

11. What is something unique about you- that others may not know?

I can lick my elbow.
