Easter Style | Valley of the Dolls

Processed with VSCO with a6 presetHi friends! April came out of nowhere! Spring is finally here and I’m more than happy to defrost. BYE snow (which I think is pretty, but I’ve had ENOUGH). Byeeeee cozy sweaters and heavy coats! Glorious sunshine, I’m ready for you (with tons of SPF, duh because health + fine lines). I’m ready for dresses, rompers, shorts, bikinis, skirts, etc. Now that it’s Spring, Easter is just a hop, skip and jump away (get it..because Easter bunnies). When I think of Easter style and colors, I think of pastel pink!

I got this Lovers + Friends dress a while back for a wedding, but I thought it was wayyyy too pink (I didn’t want to look like an unofficial bridesmaid). It ended up sitting in my closet until I styled this Easter look — the dress is still in stock on Revolve in various colors and embroidery patterns (see below). I paired the dress with wooden block heels.

This shade of pink just screams Easter. Sarah/Shades of Sarah and I met up to style Easter outfits with Julia Dent/Philly Photo Blog. I love the color and print combo Sarah chose — blue houndstooth — also very Easter! Together, our styles looked so classically Easter and kind of retro, like late 1960s to early 1970s…think Valley of the Dolls.

What are you excited for this Spring?

xo Melissa
