If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my new puppy, Maddie. She’s a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Poodle, and Bichon Frise. I know…such a mouthful, right? Maddie’s about 4 months old and I’m overly obsessed with her furry little 5 pound self.
I want Maddie to be healthy and happy. In honor of Earth Month, I’d like to share some natural pet care products Maddie uses.
1. Burt’s Bees Oatmeal Dog Shampoo
This oatmeal shampoo has colloidal flour, which helps with dry skin. Honey will give your pup’s coat a nice shine. If you like using sulfate free shampoos for yourself, this is a good sulfate free shampoo for your pet.
2. Burt’s Bees Tearless Puppy Wipes
Maddie is so mischievous and sneaky. She tries getting into everything and her paws always get super dirty. I don’t want to over bathe her(is that a thing?). These wipes are great to have when she gets a little dirty.
3. Tender & True Organic Pet Food
Maddie eats Tender & True Organic Pet Food (the one I give her is for all life stages). It’s fully USDA organic and comes in dry and wet versions, but I give Maddie the dry version. It’s made of chickens that were never treated with antibiotics or hormones. These also don’t contain any grains, corn or soy. The woman we got Maddie from told us she feeds her pets grain-free food, because grains expand and it just takes longer to get through their system.
4. Wellness Just for Puppy Treats
Okay..Maddie’s OBSESSED with these wholesome puppy treats. She learned “sit” with these. I don’t want to lie…I bought these because the packaging was super cute, so I’m glad she likes them. They’re made with lamb, salmon, and whole fruits and veggies, such as blueberries and carrots. Another plus? These treats contain Omega fatty acids and antioxidants.
