{ Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Lemonade Recipe }

HOLY FREAKEN 23 INCHES OF SNOW. I lived through my first blizzard. I’ve never seen so much snow fall in my life. It was so so so cool. It was quite an experience and even though my car is currently stuck under a mountain of snow, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

This blizzard resulted in a gluttonous weekend. I’m in need of a little detox and some pilates.

I went to Whole Foods and decided to pick up some apple cider vinegar. An older woman about the age of my grandma noticed I was checking it out. She totally recommended Bragg Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. She has never ever used any other brand for the past 40 years. I was persuades and haddd to get the same brand. She also said apple cider has a ton of health benefits and mentioned it’s an old fashioned remedy / old wives tale for curing almost everything.

Lately, there has been a ton of wellness news going on surrounding apple cider vinegar and I wanted to give it a try. So I picked up a bottle and did some research. Check out these apple cider health benefits:

Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits

  • May break down fats

  • Suppresses appetite
  • May lower cholesterol
  • Prevents indigestion
  • Boosts energy
  • Gets rid of bad breath

Apple Cider Vinegar is really acidic and tastes nasty. I wouldn’t drink it straight — I drink it as a lemonade. Here’s my recipe.

{ Shop it: Paper Mart Pink Chevron Paper Straws, I drink this with a straw to protect my teeth. Apple cider vinegar and lemons are both acidic. }
